How to download a public Snapchat Story
Copy the public Story’s share link from Snapchat. Paste it above and select Download. Preview the available photo or video, then use its download button. A public profile link can show the profile’s available active public Story.
Download Snapchat Spotlight videos
Open a Spotlight video in Snapchat and copy its share link. A complete Spotlight link identifies the video you want to save. Paste it into the downloader to retrieve the available preview and file.
A Snapchat share link and a public profile return different results
A share link identifies a particular Snap when that item is still available. A public profile link can return its available active public Story collection. Check the preview before saving: an expired shared Snap is not silently replaced by a different Story item. Private chats are unsupported.
Public content and expired Snaps
Private chats and private account content are unsupported. Public Stories and shared Snaps can expire or be removed. If a shared Snap is unavailable, try a current public Story or Spotlight link. Only save content you own or have permission to download.
